Enter now and maybe it will be your painting that wins 1st place. Giant Pumpkin Competition Cairns Schools are busy planting pumpkins seeds in an attempt to grow the BIGGEST PUMPKIN for the Cairns Show Giant Pumpkin Competitions. Woree Primary School Pumpkin Class 3AW at Woree Primary School are growing a giant pumpkin which will be entered into the Cairns Show. Here are some photos( pictured right) of the progress of our pumpkin which was planted in the ground on Friday. Hopefully the rain won't effect it growing to be the biggest pumpkin in the world!! Click here for more information Ergon's Energy School Science and Technology Display For the first time we will have a Science and Technology display at the Show. The winning display wins $500 proudly donated by Showbag Warehouse and will be exhibited at EKKA in their Education on Show Pavilion. Space will be limited, to express your interest in displaying please fill in an expression of interest form and return to the Cairns Show Office. Face of the Show 2011
Our 2010 FACE of the Show Competition was so successful the Cairns Show Association has decided to run the competition again. Get your pens and paper ready and start drawing what you think represents the Cairns Show. This time next year it could be your picture that's on our schedule covers and becomes the FACE of the 2011 Show.
