CALLING FOR NOMINEES FOR MISS SHOW GIRL 2012 

The Cairns Show Association is now seeking nominees for 2012 Miss Show Girl. The Miss Showgirl Awards is not a 'beauty contest' - the focus is on young ladies wanting to boost their self esteem and confidence. It really is a great opportunity to network, meet new people, business representatives and dignitaries.

Judges are looking for girls that have an engaging personality, charm and a strong sense of community spirit.

Young ladies 18 years and under 27 years, single, living in Queensland, lots of personality and some general knowledge about the Show are eligible to enter.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a young lady to be an ambassador for Cairns Show Association. Throughout the year, the winner will need to be available to make guest appearances as well as attend the various events held at the Cairns Show.

So if you are interested in becoming the 2012 Cairns Miss Showgirl or know of someone who would make an excellent ambassador, contact Margaret at the Cairns Show Association.

2011 Cairns Miss Show Girl

Belinda West was crowned 2011 Cairns Miss Show Girl during the presentation Cocktail Party held at the Show Ground on March 31st. As winner of the 2011 Cairns Miss Showgirl Contest, Belinda received a fantastic prize package of
