“I would like an opportunity to represent cairns through this local Miss Showgirl Award. I believe that it would be my pleasure in having this amazing opportunity. I have experienced many skills such as leadership, communication and initiative skill in many aspects of my life. My skills have shown through being a Pom Captain of my Cheerleading Pom Squad and also through the opportunity to choreograph routines, from my previous cheer squad. With leadership, communication and initiative skills I believe that this would be a great opportunity for me to expand my experiences in life.”

“I believe the Cairns Miss Showgirl must be a girl who is not afraid to get out into her community and spread the word about her own dreams and ambitions and those of her local Show Association with the hope to inspire and excite. She must present herself in a confident yet modest manner and always be polite and willing to help. I believe I can be that girl.”
